Savings Guide

Know what you are paying for.

Weight-management costs can be split across medication, coverage, provider fees, memberships, labs, and other services. This hub helps you compare the pieces without making medical decisions for you.

Prescription pricing

Compare the price through insurance, the pharmacy's cash price, and any legitimate discount program available to you. A discount card is not insurance and may not always produce the lowest price.

GLP-1-related offers

Promotions can have eligibility rules, expiration dates, service fees, or medication exclusions. Read the full offer and verify the provider or pharmacy before paying.

Program fees

A low advertised monthly fee may not include medication, consultations, lab work, shipping, membership charges, or follow-up care. Compare the all-in cost.

Five questions to ask

Before you act on a weight-care promotion

  1. What exactly is included? Separate the medication price from consultation, membership, lab, shipping, or support fees.
  2. Who provides the medical care? If an offer involves prescription treatment, verify that medical evaluation and prescribing are handled by appropriately licensed professionals.
  3. Is the advertised price conditional? Check whether it assumes insurance coverage, a manufacturer program, a first-month promotion, or other eligibility requirements.
  4. What happens after the introductory period? Compare the ongoing monthly cost, not just the entry price.
  5. How do cancellation and refunds work? Read the provider's terms before paying for recurring services.

Common cost buckets

Medication: The prescription or product itself. Clinical services: Consultations, follow-ups, or provider fees. Membership: Recurring program-access fees. Labs: Testing when required by a provider. Fulfillment: Pharmacy, shipping, or handling costs. Other wellness products: Separate supplements, devices, or services.
